The City High graduation project is necessary for graduation. There must be a final product and a presentation before a panel after the project is completed. Some interests and ideas that I have which I could form into a project are in writing, film and business. An idea I had for my project was to write a movie script followed by a fairly detailed marketing proposal for the film. This would incorporate both the business and arts into my graduation project and would definitely be able to hold my interest for the next year. Some concerns that I have with this topic idea is that it could possible require too detail, research and time.

Patrick, writing a film is definitely a very in-depth project. One way to make this more manageable is to have contest or other "assignment" that will give you guidelines that the film could be for. Begin investigating some possibilities at Student Filmmakers or at Pittsburgh Filmmakers, and don't forget to talk to Mr. Nelson!
