Other Projects

Today, we did presentations in class showing our projects. One project which I found particularly interesting was Aluara's. Her project involves food, much like everybody else in this school, but she is adding her own little twist to it. She is combining her love for photography and the family recipies which have been passed down in her family. I think that this is a very original and interesting project and should turn out quite nicely.

Webliogrophy

Today I continued work on my webliography to the point where I am almost complete. I already have all 10 of my sources but am only working on the last couple annotations.

Back in Research

After missing a few classes, I have fallen slightly behind. Today, I continued working on my Webliography. It was a productive day as I finished finding all 10 sources. However, I still have to write the annotation for them all. The sources I found appear to be very useful and I fully expect to use a few of them throughout much of my project.

Yesterday and Today

Yesterday and Today I have worked on my Webliography. I have achieved a total of four sources as of now that are strong and reliable. I know that I am going to have to constantly be getting sources for my topic because it requires me to research every little detail and I will not know the details until I am actually writing.

1. This website offers the official script for thousands of movies including both old and new releases. It allows you to search a title, search by genre and even search television scripts as well.

2. This website receives a rating of 8 out of 10. The reason for this is that it is a very reliable source and offers accurate information on each movie. Something wrong with the site however is that it only provides one form of help. It allows me to easily read scripts and compare them to how they are made, but it doesn’t give any tips on how to write a good movie.

3. This website will be useful in my research because I will be able to read any movie script. This will enable me to compare how a movie script is written and how it appears on the screen. Also, it will allow me to see examples of how exactly a script is written. Some information that I can use from this website for my project would be the general set up of a script, how it appears and how it is formatted.

Again with the Poster

Today I had to redu my poster because it didn't represent my particular project as accuratley as it could have. Afterwards, I continued working on the webliography. The photos in my project each represent different parts of my project. The screenplay and the pencil with paper both represent the writing aspect of my project. The movie posters for Back to the Future and Donnie Darko both represent my genre, as they are both science fiction. Also, at the bottom of the poster is a picture of a black hole. The reason for this is that I consider this a possibility for a movie topic.

Yesterday

Yesterday in class Mr. Nelson came to class to discuss the possibilities of using the school video camera's for our senior project. I consider this a possibility, but unlikley. I don't really think it would be all that interesting to have a video of me thinking and writing. Also, after the class discussion I was able to start on the Webliography.

Photoshop Project

Today, the class worked on creating posters which represent our projects. I was able to complete my poster early because I had started it on Friday. The poster came along well and I am now ready for the next step.
